{"id":13744,"date":"2022-10-08T09:08:00","date_gmt":"2022-10-08T01:08:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=13744"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:41:43","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:41:43","slug":"vegetarian-kibbeh-nayeh-normasfooddiary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/vegetarian-kibbeh-nayeh-normasfooddiary","title":{"rendered":"Vegetarian Kibbeh Nayeh"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Vegetarian Kibbeh Nayeh Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>1 butternut pumpkin, cut into cubes<br \/>\n3\u20444 cup fine brown Burghul, washed and drained<br \/>\n1\u20442 red capsicum<br \/>\n1 large onion<br \/>\nFresh basil &amp; Mint leaves<br \/>\n11\u20442 teaspoons cumin<br \/>\n1 teaspoon baharat (Lebanese mixed spice)<br \/>\nRed chilli either fresh or flakes<br \/>\nSalt (Taste as you go)<br \/>\nGround black pepper<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p>Add your pumpkin to a pot filled with water and boil till fork tender.<br \/>\nIn a food processor or hand held chopper add all the kibbeh ingredients EXCEPT the pumpkin and Burghul and pulse till all combined and blended.<br \/>\nOnce your pumpkin is cooked remove from the water and strain. Allow to cool slightly then mash with a fork till nice and smooth, few Lumps are ok. Add the burghul and stir through then place in the fridge for 1 hour to allow the burghul to absorb the pumpkin liquid and thicken up.<br \/>\nAdd your blended ingredients to the pumpkin and using your hand knead all the ingredients together till well combined. Have a little taste and adjust the seasoning as you go it may need more chilli or salt.<br \/>\nServe immediately or place in the fridge to set further.
