{"id":13498,"date":"2022-10-01T12:30:00","date_gmt":"2022-10-01T04:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=13498"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:42:26","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:42:26","slug":"arab-style-lentil-soup-korkyskitchenofficial_","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/arab-style-lentil-soup-korkyskitchenofficial_","title":{"rendered":"Arab Style Lentil Soup"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Arab Style Lentil Soup Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>1.5 cups green lentils (soaked min 1 hour)<br \/>\n1\/4 cup medium grain rice (not washed) .<br \/>\n1 large brown onion finely diced<br \/>\n1 cup fresh parsley leaves chopped<br \/>\n2 tbsp olive oil<br \/>\n2 tbsp butter (paint it yellow )<br \/>\n2 tbsp salt<br \/>\n1 tsp of cumin (optional ) I don\u2019t always add it cause hubby isn\u2019t a fan .<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p>After lentils have been soaking wash them , add to a medium size pot and add water to cover them well and let them boil away until totally soft .<br \/>\nUsing a stick blender wizz them up well.<br \/>\nSlowly add the rice in stirring well and adding water as well to keep it soupy and also the water allows rice to cook well .
