{"id":13442,"date":"2022-09-30T14:07:00","date_gmt":"2022-09-30T06:07:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=13442"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:42:37","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:42:37","slug":"malfoof-korkyskitchenofficial_","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/malfoof-korkyskitchenofficial_","title":{"rendered":"Malfoof"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Malfoof Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>For the malfoof I got a small\/ medium size green cabbage<\/p>\n<h2>For The Filling<\/h2>\n<p>1\/2 kilo lamb mince (cooked ) @hosnabutchery<br \/>\n2 cups washed rice medium grain<br \/>\n1 finely chopped onion (raw)<br \/>\n1 tsp salt<br \/>\n1tsp pepper<br \/>\n1 tbs cumin<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p>Mix together well and roll the malfoof .<br \/>\nFor the malfoof I used 2 kilo lamb necks @hosnabutchery , boiled them about 20 mins with @mimosspicebags , washed well and set aside .<br \/>\nIn a new large pot cook off the off cuts with some olive oil (macmoora) with one finely diced brown onion and 4 cloves of garlic (peeled and finely sliced ) and 1 tbs cumin to this also .<br \/>\nRemove and set aside<br \/>\nIn the same pot stack the lamb necks and season well with salt n pepper .<br \/>\nPlace the mamoora filling on top as a layer .<br \/>\nStack the rolled malfoof leaves tightly and neatly on top .<\/p>\n<h2>Dressing For The Malfoof<\/h2>\n<p>2 tbs tomato paste<br \/>\n1\/4 cup pomegranate molasses<br \/>\n1 cup fresh lemon juice<br \/>\n2 tbs dry mint<br \/>\n1 tbs salt<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p>Mix well and pour over the malfoof<br \/>\nApply pressure and add enough water to cover the malfoof 2pm above the malfoof .<br \/>\nLeave pressure on there and bring to a boil for about 1\/2 hour &#8211; gradually start reducing the heat , after an hour remove pressure , and cover the pot and leave them to cook slowly on low about 4 hours .<br \/>\n<strong>Tip &#8211;<\/strong> <em>I microwaved the cabbage for 8 mins before starting the peeling process makes it so much easier to work with .<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>Tip &#8211;<\/strong> <em>you can adjust lemon and pomegranate molasses amounts to your liking.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Malfoof Ingredients For the malfoof I got a small\/ medium size green cabbage For The Filling 1\/2 kilo lamb mince (cooked ) @hosnabutchery 2 cups washed rice medium grain 1 finely chopped onion (raw) 1 tsp salt 1tsp pepper 1 tbs cumin Steps Mix together well and roll the malfoof .
