{"id":11919,"date":"2022-07-25T08:52:00","date_gmt":"2022-07-25T00:52:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=11919"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:44:37","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:44:37","slug":"south-indian-coconut-chutney-colourme_aesthetic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/south-indian-coconut-chutney-colourme_aesthetic","title":{"rendered":"South Indian Coconut Chutney"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>South Indian Coconut Chutney Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p><em><strong>For grinding-<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n3\u20444 cup fresh\/dessicated coconut<br \/>\n2 tbsp roasted chana dal\/peanuts<br \/>\n1\u20442 inch ginger\/ 1 garlic clove<br \/>\n1-2 green chillies<br \/>\n1\u20442 tsp salt<br \/>\n3-4 tbsp water (as required)<br \/>\n<em><strong>For the tempering:<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n1 tbsp ghee\/oil<br \/>\n1\u20442 tsp mustard seeds<br \/>\n1\u20442 tsp cumin seeds<br \/>\n1\u20442 tsp urad dal<br \/>\n9-10 curry leaves<br \/>\n1 dry red chilli<br \/>\nA pinch of hing (asafoetida)<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p><em><strong>To grind-<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nAdd coconut, roasted gram, ginger\/garlic, chilli, salt, water &amp; blend until you get an almost smooth consistency. Add more water if required.<br \/>\nTransfer the chutney to a serving bowl<br \/>\n<em><strong>For the tempering-<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nOver medium heat add oil in a tadka pan, add the mustard seeds &amp; allow them to splutter.
