In a pot, heat up the oil and put the kernels. Cover it up. Let the kernels pop. You can shake the pot occasionally. Safe aside.<br \/>\n2. In another pot, mix water and sugar, then heat them up. No need to stir until it shows light brown colour. Turn off the heat.<br \/>\n3. Still on the stove, add the butter. Stir until melted.<br \/>\n4. Add salt and baking soda. Keep stirring until caramelized (the colour is darker).<br \/>\n5. Pour on popcorn. Give it a good stir until incorporated.<br \/>\n6. Spread on tray. Let them chilled.<br \/>\n7. Once cool, break it into pieces of popcorn. Put them in a serving bowl.
