{"id":11716,"date":"2022-07-14T08:29:00","date_gmt":"2022-07-14T00:29:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=11716"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:45:06","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:45:06","slug":"patra-cooksbyson","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/patra-cooksbyson","title":{"rendered":"Patra"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Patra Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>Approx 60 large spinach leaves<br \/>\n4 cloves of garlic<br \/>\n2 inch piece of ginger<br \/>\n5 large green chillies<br \/>\na small handful of coconut chunks<br \/>\n6 heaped tbsp gram flour<br \/>\n3 heaped tbsp rice flour<br \/>\n3 heaped tbsp juwar flour<br \/>\n3 heaped tbsp chapatti flour<br \/>\n3 tbsp vegetable oil<br \/>\n1 tsp hing powder<br \/>\n6 tbsp tamarind<br \/>\n6 tbsp jaggery goor<br \/>\n3 heaped tbsp natural yoghurt<br \/>\n2 tsp dhana jeeru<br \/>\n2 tsp salt<br \/>\n1 1\/2 tumeric<br \/>\n2 tbsp of garlic, ginger, chilli paste<br \/>\n3\/4 of a mug filled with lukewarm water<br \/>\n2 tbsp sunflower oil<br \/>\n2 tsp black mustard seeds<br \/>\n2 tsp white sesame seeds<br \/>\n1 tsp lemon juice<br \/>\nChopped coriander<\/p>\n<h2>Method<\/h2>\n<p>1. Wash the spinach leaves and leave to dry. In the meantime, grind together the garlic, ginger, coconut, chillies, goor, yoghurt and tamarind.<br \/>\n2. In large bowl, combine the flours, oil, powders, the blended mix and slowly add in the water and mix well to form your paste.<br \/>\n3. Prepare your steamer on the hob and brush the top with a little oil.<br \/>\n4. Roll out the spinach leaves and cover with the paste. Fold each half into itself (vertically) and roll upwards before placing on the steamer.<br \/>\n5. Once all rolls are ready, cover the steamer and leave on high heat for 10mins before reducing heat for a further 20mins. Remove the rolls and cut into bite sized pieces.<br \/>\n6. Heat the sunflower oil in a frying pan, add the mustard seeds until they pop, then throw in the sesame seeds for a few seconds, before adding the patra.
