{"id":11538,"date":"2022-07-03T05:40:00","date_gmt":"2022-07-02T21:40:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=11538"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:45:18","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:45:18","slug":"waffle-fries-wondernonieskitchen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/waffle-fries-wondernonieskitchen","title":{"rendered":"Waffle Fries"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>5 medium russet potatoes<br \/>\n1 tsp flaky sea salt<br \/>\nvegetable or canola oil (for deep frying)<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p>Fill a large bowl with cold water &amp; ice.<br \/>\nScrub potatoes under running water &amp; peel of skins.<br \/>\nUsing a mandoline set to waffle cut or hand held crinkle cutter, carefully slice potatoes into 1\/4 cm thickness.<br \/>\nStart the first cut crosswise then rotate potato 90 deg in between each cut, transfer into the ice bath &amp; set aside for 30 mins.<br \/>\nHeat oil in a pot over medium heat (abt 130 deg C)<br \/>\nMeanwhile, drain potatoes, lay on paper towels &amp; pat dry.<br \/>\nLayer a baking tray with kitchen towels too.<br \/>\nWorking in batches, add fries into hot oil, stirring with a slotted spoon to prevent sticking &amp; fry for 3 mins.<br \/>\nUsing the slotted spoon, transfer fries onto baking tray &amp; arrange in a single layer.<br \/>\nIncrease heat to medium-high (abt 180 deg C) &amp; place a wire rack nearby.<br \/>\nWorking in batches, fry waffle fries until golden brown &amp; crispy (abt 3-5 mins), flipping individual slices to ensure even browning.<br \/>\nTransfer waflle fries onto wire rack, sprinkle immediately with salt &amp; serve with sauce of choice.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ingredients 5 medium russet potatoes 1 tsp flaky sea salt vegetable or canola oil (for deep frying) Steps Fill a large bowl with cold water &amp; ice.
