{"id":10863,"date":"2022-06-04T09:14:00","date_gmt":"2022-06-04T01:14:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=10863"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:46:35","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:46:35","slug":"fish-biryani-thebukharigirls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/fish-biryani-thebukharigirls","title":{"rendered":"Fish Biryani"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Fish Biryani Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>1 kg &#8211; filleted fish (I used king fish)<br \/>\n1 tsp turmeric<br \/>\n1 tsp chili powder<br \/>\nSalt according to taste<br \/>\n3 Tbsp lemon juice<br \/>\n1 cup Oil<br \/>\n1 tbsp ginger garlic paste<br \/>\n1 cup tomato pure\u0301e<br \/>\n750 gms (Basmati Rice, washed and soaked for 30 minutes)<br \/>\n1 cup fried onion<br \/>\n1\u20444 cups plain Yogurt<br \/>\n1\u20442 cup Cilantro<br \/>\n1\u20442 cup Mint leaves<br \/>\n10 \u2013 15 Green Chillies whole, slit from one side<br \/>\n1 packet Shan Bombay Biryani Mix<\/p>\n<h2>Method<\/h2>\n<p>Mix turmeric, chili powder, salt and lemon juice and rub it on fish pieces and marinate for 2 hours .<br \/>\nHeat 1\/2 cup oil and fry the fish pieces from both sides until they are fully cooked. Set aside<br \/>\nHeat half a cup of Ghee\/Oil and fry3 sliced large Onions until golden brown and set them aside on paper towel.<br \/>\nUse the same oil and add ginger garlic paste. When it\u2019s golden brown add tomato pure\u0301e, fried onion and Bombay biryani mix. Cook until oil separates.<br \/>\nAdd yogurt in and let it cook until oil separates. Then add marinated Fish, green chilies, and fresh Coriander. Avoid over mixing the Fish.<br \/>\nAdd 7 glasses of water and 2 tablespoons Salt. Bring to boil and add the soaked Rice. Cook until the rice is three-quarter tender. The drain the liquid thoroughly.<br \/>\nSpread half the rice in a pot and evenly pour the cooked fish and masala over it. Add chopped mint and lemon slices. Then spread and cover it with remaining rice.<br \/>\nPour the oil that is left from frying the fish on top. Sprinkle some fried onion and pour some orange color.
