{"id":10784,"date":"2022-06-02T11:06:00","date_gmt":"2022-06-02T03:06:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=10784"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:46:48","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:46:48","slug":"nawabi-malai-chicken-koftay-thebukharigirls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/nawabi-malai-chicken-koftay-thebukharigirls","title":{"rendered":"Nawabi Malai Chicken Koftay"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Nawabi Malai Chicken Koftay Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p><em><strong>Spice blend:<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n1 green cardamom<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp fennel seeds<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp cumin seeds<br \/>\nSalt according to taste<br \/>\n<em><strong>Meat balls:<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n1\/3 cup fried onion<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp ginger garlic paste<br \/>\n1 tbsp cornflour<br \/>\n1 tsp oil<br \/>\n500 gram chicken mince<br \/>\n2 Tbsp oil for frying<br \/>\n<em><strong>Gravy<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n1 medium onion sliced<br \/>\n15 almonds soaked in water for 2-3 hours<br \/>\n8-10 garlic cloves<br \/>\n1 inch ginger piece<br \/>\n2- 3 Tbsp oil<br \/>\n1 inch cinnamon stick<br \/>\n2 bay leaves<br \/>\n8-10 black peppercorns<br \/>\n1 green cardamom<br \/>\n4-5 cloves<br \/>\n1 tsp coriander powder<br \/>\nSalt according to taste<br \/>\n1\/3 cup yogurt<br \/>\n1 tbsp cream<br \/>\n4-5 green chilies sliced<\/p>\n<h2>Method<\/h2>\n<p>Add everything under spice blend in mortar and pestle and grind coarsely<br \/>\nGrind fried onion coarsely as well. Mix it with spice blend. Add ginger garlic paste, oil and cornflour along with the chicken mince and mix well.<br \/>\nOil your hands and make small balls (kofta)<br \/>\nShallow Fry meat balls or kofta in oil. Once the color changes slightly take them out.<br \/>\nIn the same pan add sliced onion and let it get translucent. Take it out and set it aside<br \/>\nTake the skin off the almonds and put it in grinder. Add ginger and garlic along with translucent onion.<br \/>\nGrind it into a fine paste.<br \/>\nAdd oil in the same pan. Add the whole spices ( green cardamom, cloves, black peppercorn, bay leaf and cinnamon stick) let it crackle for a minute.<br \/>\nAdd the almond paste in the pan and cook for few more minutes.<br \/>\nAdd water and add coriander powder. Stir and cook for 5 minutes.<br \/>\nAdd yogurt in the pan and continue cooking for 1 minute.<br \/>\nAdd 1 cup water and when it\u2019s boiling add meat balls in.<br \/>\nLet them cook on high heat until you get the required consistency.<br \/>\nTurn the heat off and add cream in the curry.
