Bring everything to a boil.<br \/>\nIn a seperate pan add clarified butter. Add cardamom, cloves, cinnamon stick and bay leaf.<br \/>\nOnce they start splattering add the chopped nuts. Heat this on medium heat, stirring often to roast the nuts well.<br \/>\nKeep this roasting till they slightly change the color.<br \/>\nOnce the rice is cooked 3\/4, drain it in a colander.<br \/>\nAdd rice, sugar and nuts. Mix well<br \/>\nCover the pot and turn the heat to the lowest setting possible.
