{"id":10139,"date":"2022-05-25T07:59:00","date_gmt":"2022-05-24T23:59:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=10139"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:48:10","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:48:10","slug":"shami-kabab-thebukharigirls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/shami-kabab-thebukharigirls","title":{"rendered":"Shami Kabab"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Shami Kabab Shami Kababingredients<\/h2>\n<p>1 tbsp coriander seeds<br \/>\n1 tsp whole black peppercorns<br \/>\n2 inch piece cinnamon stick<br \/>\n1 small black cardamom<br \/>\n2 green cardamom pods<br \/>\n4 whole cloves<br \/>\n1 tsp cumin seeds<br \/>\n600 gram ground beef, (preferably full-fat)<br \/>\n180 gram chana dal (gram lentil)<br \/>\n1 medium onion, roughly chopped<br \/>\n8-10 garlic cloves<br \/>\n1 inch piece ginger<br \/>\n1 medium bay leaf<br \/>\n1 Tbsp red chili flakes<br \/>\nsalt according to taste<\/p>\n<h2>To Mix<\/h2>\n<p>1 small onion, coarsely chopped<br \/>\n1 green chili pepper, thinly sliced<br \/>\n1\/2-1\/3 cup cilantro leaves<br \/>\n2 tbsp mint leaves<br \/>\n1 egg, whisked<\/p>\n<h2>Method<\/h2>\n<p>In a medium pot, add all of the ingredients listed under along with the freshly ground spices and 2 1\/2 cups of water.<br \/>\nPlace the lid ajar and continue to cook on high heat for 50 minutes to 1 hour to completely evaporate any moisture. Turn off the heat and allow to cool.<br \/>\nCombine the onion, green chili pepper, cilantro, and mint in the bowl of a food processor. Use the pulse setting to finely chop. Transfer to a large bowl.<br \/>\nAdd the cooled beef and lentil mixture to the food processor. process this mixture until as smooth as possible. Add the whisked egg and mix to combine.\u2028Using oiled hands, shape 1\u20444 cup heaped of the mixture into a flat, round patty.<br \/>\nBeat one egg in a bowl.
